This year’s concert festival season has begun. The high holiday weekend and Coachella kicked it off officially. There are a lot of shows to see between now and the end of the Summer. This is Cannapolitan’s top festivals for 2019.
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival April 26-May 5, 2019
This one takes the cake and eats every crumb of musical bliss. 2019 Celebrates the 50th anniversary of the festival. This has to be one of the longest running festivals of its kind. The spirited and carefully cultivated festival invites true music lovers in for an overwhelming 8 days. Thursday through Sunday and then again, the following Thursday through Sunday. There is no day in the eight that should be missed with this extensive line-up. Get familiar with the city, eat the food, chat with the locals and feel the vibes. BEACHLIFE Festival May 3-5, 2019
Dig your feet into the sand at the new festival set for the California coast that has classic California sounds in the line-up. Beachlife Festival intends on not only impressing guests with an unforgettable set of musicians but also tastes that will leave you hungry for more. This music and culinary celebration on the coast features chefs and tastemakers from the area that will have you drooling while jamming to your favorite artists. Did we mention it’s on the beach? Headliners like Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, Bob Weir & Wolf Bros, Jason Mraz. See all your favorite artists for a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience all in one festival. KAABOO Texas May 10-12, 2019
Put your cowboy or cowgirl boots on and head down to where the Cowboys play and get ready to KAABOO. This Festival is really taking musical and culinary experiences to the next level. KAABOO has had four very successful years in Del Mar, California. This year in February, the festival expanded to the Grand Caymans with great success. KAABOO is killing it with their culture, line-ups, and overall well-organized festivals. The next KAABOO extension is in a place where world famous hospitality and great music come together; in the Texas-sized AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This venue is ideal for the incredibly diverse and widely loved line-ups that only KAABOO can bring. Leading the pack with headliners like Lionel Richie, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sting, and an amazing list of top acts throughout the three-day festival. BottleRock Festival May 24-26, 2019
Never underestimated and always sold out is the ultimate wine, food, and music festival, BottleRock located in Napa, Ca. This luxury inspired festival has definitely all the makings of the first taste of summer. BottleRock is unique in itself that it draws many of the finest winemakers and culinary geniuses into one space alongside top acts. The whole experience is designed to delight all the senses. KAABOO Del Mar, CA September 13-15, 2019
We heart KAABOO Del Mar! This is definitely in our top 5 festivals nationwide! The extraordinary detail and care that goes into this festival is top notch and it has to be experienced. Once you KAABOO, you want to come back every year. Their outstanding and diverse lineups every year are impressive and continue to shine through. This is why thousands of fans come from around the globe to KAABOO Del Mar. KAABOO celebrates their 5th year in Del Mar and on the heels of their expansion successes with KAABOO Cayman and the anticipated thrills of KAABOO Texas, the future of KAABOO looks brighter than ever. Not every year is going to be perfect for any festival line-up, and artists are not always available to perform every festival. KAABOO does a pretty damn good job at making their line-ups and the experiences near perfect and look effortless. KAABOO brings the noise and the glamour they have provided in the past with the right ingredients.

This is one of the features that really makes KAABOO special and one of a kind outside other mainstream festivals. This year is no exception as there will be over 100 artists being exhibited throughout the park of the Del Mar Fairgrounds. California Roots Music & Arts Festival May 24-26, 2019
Reggae bliss all weekend long! Cali Roots (for short) is one of the largest reggae festivals in the country. Their line-up this year has nothing but headlining favorites from around the globe. Several of the bands slated to perform are California natives that bring the sound that we refer to as Cali Reggae. This festival has all that a Cannapolitan would desire: great music, beautiful coastline, great food, and most importantly, a cannabis friendly environment! We really give this festival two thumbs up on their mission to be sustainable to the environment as well. Their greening initiatives and efforts should encourage other festival organizers to leave the environment even better than it was before thousands set foot on it. Concepts like their steel pint program that gives guests an opportunity to reuse their souvenir glass throughout the weekend instead of dozens of plastic cups filling the landfill. Cali Roots Fest is at the Monterey County Fairgrounds, which is just blocks from the beach. This is the festival to start off your summer and get ready for great vibes all around. Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival June 13-16, 2019
Experience the eclectic vibes in Tennessee at Bonnaroo. The jam band inspired festival has evolved over the years to include a multitude of genres to delight many audiences. Located in Manchester, Tennessee, this early Summer treat will have you asking for more. Headliners like Childish Gambino, Phish and Post Malone lead the wild mix artists and bands for this Thursday through Saturday festival. Northern Nights Music Festival July 19-21, 2019 Cook’s Valley Campgrounds
This one had us at hello with their slogan: REDWOODS. MUSIC. RIVER. CAMPING. ART. YOGA. CANNABIS. That last word…Cannabis… ah yeah! Finally, a music festival to stand up and shout it into the woods! This fun and Cannabis friendly festival sounds like it’s going to be a splendid time in the woods this summer. Meet new friends, smoke more cannabis, hear great music and get back to yourself while soaking in all the beautiful surroundings. Smokin Groves Festival June 15, 2019 Long Beach, CA
This festival aims to go the distance with a line-up that will have you groovin all day and night! What a line-up! Erykah Badu, Usher, Ella Mai, Daniel Caesar, Kali Uchis and Common! This really is going to be a smokin good time! We haven’t been to this festival before, but we certainly plan on covering this unique festival that could certainly start a following based on the curation of this line-up!
