This is Cannapolitan’s Hall of Flowers 2024 Santa Rosa guide to everything HOF. We will share all our tips and tricks for making the most of your HOF experience. Whether you are a professional in the industry or just a  Cannabis enthusiast (both are Cannapolitan). However, in case you’re new- Hall of Flowers is a California (also Canada eh) business to business show. Hall of Flowers invites professionals from retail and medical Cannabis store’s buyers/ owners to meet with Cannabis farmers and the brands for opportunities to be inside their store. This show dictates what your favorite dispensary is going to sell in store. This HOF is going to be next level by having day 1 for the pros and day 2 for everyone over 21.  All of the Cannabis community will come together to celebrate the culture, lifestyle and of course, the plant that brought us all together. This year’s HOF will offer even more experiences that are truly Cannapolitan. The informative and entertaining speaker series ICONOCLASTS is back on both days. There will be live music, art, contests, challenges, experiences and even rides! This is unlike any Cannabis event you’ve ever been to, even those who have been before, this will be a new experience for all.

This Hall of Flowers (Sept 20 & 21, 2024) is going to once again change the game on Cannabis expos. Every booth is spoken for so it’s going to be a packed house at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds. We anticipate this HOF will be the biggest yet. Why? Because for the first time HOF is inviting the entire Cannabis community to come together on day 2 for an EPIC celebration that none of us have yet to experience, including yours truly. Think of your best big concert festival experience, now include all your favorite Cannabis brands, live music, art, attractions, experiences, and much more… ya it’s going to be EPIC! Did we mention that HOF is Cannabis heaven? YES!

Now with Day 2 open to all whom (over 21) can buy a very respectful priced ticket ($30-$70 depending on when you buy your ticket here). The Evolution of Hall of Flowers

Honestly, each time I have attended HOF it’s amazing and special.  I have been going to HOF since its second show (running 6 years now). If you’re in the industry this is the ONLY show you really want to attend every time. I think also because HOF showcases the very best Cannabis in the world (California) it’s sacred to us. From Santa Rosa to Palm Springs, to Ventura and back to Santa Rosa, each and every time its like a family reunion for Cannabis professionals. From Santa Rosa to Palm Springs (twice) to Ventura this year, the show just gets bigger and better every time! This past March HOF made a HUGE move to hold the event in Ventura County at the historic fairgrounds, right on the beach. This was the biggest Cannabis event Ventura County has ever had and even though it was industry only, it was still a very big deal for a community that just recently started allowing Cannabis dispensaries to open.

That’s the thing, Hall of Flowers has been trailblazing for years for the industry and lifting it up and providing a level of class that no one has done before. That’s why these cities and venues welcome HOF to boost the local economy and provide a level of respectability for the Cannabis community. Back to Ventura, It was an amazing venue with plenty of space, parking, and so much more! The vibe was even bigger and better with a Ferris wheel, a train, and of course the buildings where all the Cannabis brands were representing provided ample space to serve over 200+ exhibitors. The Ventura venue and HOF was a match made in heaven. Only an hour out of LA and you’re in Ventura County. Now it’s time for the next evolution of Hall of Flowers to take place in its OG venue, Santa Rosa Fairgrounds. This time there will be more new and exciting experiences that no one has yet to have, so we’re excited to see everyone enjoy this experience.

Industry Day 1 of HOF, bring good shoes and plan to carry a lot!

Those of us with weak backs, shoulders, or bad feet have learned over the years that when you attend Hall of Flowers, wear good walking/ standing shoes and bring a carrying device for all the Cannabis samples you plan to buy to test out between yourself and the shop employees back at home that couldn’t attend. We started toting a cart with wheels years ago, it saves your back and shoulders from the weight of the glass jars, etc. You may also purchase more products on Day 2 also, so it’s best to come prepared.

Hat, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Ice water and Something to Smoke On!

It’s not quite fall in California and generally it’s still hot throughout the state mid September, so dress and prepare accordingly. Santa Rosa cools down in the evening when all the parties will certainly be LIT, so bring a light jacket just in case. The parties at HOF are always insanely awesome with brands sponsoring experiences, sampling, and much more. Plan to take a day off after you return from HOF, you will need to catch up on your sleep and rejuvenate your body from the epic-ness! This is Hall of Flowers after all, you won’t want to miss a moment.

Meet Your Farmer!

Hall of Flowers has always brought the farmers and brands directly to the buyers and owners of dispensaries from day one. Now the public outside of the industry has a chance as well to meet the farmers, brands and people behind it all. You will be able to ask questions and get solid and informed answers from the grower directly in some cases. There’s no better place to seek these answers but at Hall of Flowers. The Cannabis industry’s most esteemed thought leaders and hottest brands will welcome thousands of weed enthusiasts to Sonoma County Fairgrounds September 20-21 as California’s premier industry trade show evolves into a public-facing festival featuring direct-to-consumer sales and onsite consumption.

Since 2018, Hall of Flowers has hosted California’s most prestigious Cannabis trade shows. Now—for the first time—their ‘Cannabis Market & Festival’ event will expand on Day 2 to feature music, entertainment, food, interactive installations, art, games, rides, glassblowing demos, speakers, education, comedy, apparel, podcasts and more big attractions.

 

“Cannabis has always been the star of our show,” says Hall of Flowers co-founder Rama Mayo. “In the past, we’ve had to turn away thousands of Cannabis lovers from our industry-only trade show events, so it’s fantastic to be able to open the doors on Day 2 for this community of enthusiasts to experience the ultimate legal weed marketplace, where they can shop and sample the best California has to offer.”

On Industry Day (Friday, September 20), movie star and stand up A-lister Tiffany Haddish will be at Hall of Flowers to meet fans and promote the iconic comic book series turned TV show “The Freak Brothers.” in which she stars as a Cannapolitan (we don’t like the word stoner) cat named Kitty. The animated series is based on the classic comic book. The show also features more Cannapolitans including; Woody Harrelson, John Goodman, Pete Davidson, Adam Devine, and Blake Anderson.  The comic book was originally created by Gilbert Shelton back in 1968, The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, which sold 45 million copies globally. Now they’re back with a hit adult animated TV show and a high-powered Cannabis line in partnership with Cookies. So come hang at Hall of Flowers in The Freak Brothers basement with one of the stars of the show—Emmy award winner Tiffany Haddish—and check out the new Cannabis line.

Nine time NBA all-star Gary Payton will host a “meet and green” with fans and announce the launch of Greater Purpose, a wellness and active recovery brand created in partnership with legacy cannabis company Green Label Rx.

Another major high-light will be rapper and industry impresario Wiz Khalifa hosting a “Khalifa Kush Smoke Out” where all attendees can get lit live and in person with the best selling artist behind such hit songs as “Reefer Party,” “Smokin’ Section,” “Still Blazin,” and “Love to Smoke.”

“I’m excited to host a Khalifa Kush smoke out at Hall of Flowers this year,” Wiz says. “With Day 2 in Santa Rosa open to the public for the first time, you already know this is about to be legendary.”

Just a note that Wiz’s smoke-out is not to be confused with the official 4:20 sesh, where Houseplant by OCB rolling papers (a brand collaboration with Seth Rogen) will attempt to set the World Record for most joints lit at once.
