Hall of Flowers celebrated their 15th successful season in Ventura, CA on March 18 &19 2026
Every year Hall of Flowers produces two, and now three Cannabis business to business events that are far greater than just an expo. HOF has generally held their Fall event in Santa Rosa, CA (an hour north of San Francisco) and the Southern Ca area event has been held in Palm Springs twice and Ventura now three years. We absolutely love the Ventura location which is right next to the beach. Each HOF location is a county fair grounds venue, which allows for plenty of booths inside large buildings as well as expansive outdoor areas for brand activations. The outdoor spaces obviously provide places for the community to network and consume the Cannabis that everyone is there to check out.

Cannabis Growers are the Rock Stars here!
What we love about going to HOF is the brands and their latest strains. This event allows Cannabis professionals meet with the owners and growers of the brands. When you’re at HOF, the exhibitors are all different size businesses. I especially enjoy finding the diamonds within the halls that turn out to be producing FIRE Cannabis! Every HOF is unique with the exhibiting brands, some brands are at every show, others might be at the Santa Rosa venue only or Ventura. Sometimes its a matter of distance and the size of the company that is exhibiting that decides that. We enjoy all sizes of the businesses that exhibit. HOF probably showcases easily 75% of the Cannabis brands on the market is my professional opinion. Myself and my team talk with the growers, the sales pros, and the owners of many well known brands and the flowers they are famous for.
Tasting the best of the best Cannabis in the world!
I especially enjoy the small family grown brands as they are generally super passionate about their products and they often grow more off market strains that are incredible and unique. This is our opportunity to get turned on and up on some serious Cannabis that we recommend to you, the reader. Being that I’ve been to every HOF minus the first one, I can confidently say that I’ve smoked, eaten, vaped or applied topicals from a majority of Cannabis brands in California. This event helps me be the expert I am in Cannabis, the industry, and as a very picky consumer. Below is a shot of one of our new favorite producers, Betty Jane. They have some serious fire and strains that no one else is producing, super exciting! That said; pay attention to our 4/20 features, as we often feature many exceptional brands and products that we discover at HOF each year for 4/20 and every day. Being Cannapolitan has no limits on when to enjoy God’s gifts. Many of us make Cannabis a daily or weekly ritual.

Keeping it Real at Hall of Flowers
The Cannabis community and industry are a lively bunch of humans. Whenever I’m at Hall of Flowers it’s a reunion of those of us who’ve been in the space for a decade or more and also those that just joined. Either way, most everyone at HOF is Cannapolitan, there are very few “Chads” lurking the halls here. Most attending buyers and retail shop owners are coming to Hall of Flowers to visit their vendors and find new brands that will fly off their shelves and provide revenue for their stores. That being said there are a variety of quality and price points for every consumer. Many of the brands understand that by providing samples for the attendees, this can also build fans and sales. For disclosure, you can’t give any Cannabis away in California, so all samples require payment, it’s a discounted price, but just to clarify, no Cannabis is free at HOF. There are brands that sell merch and also brands that want their merch worn and used by professionals in the business, so they give away t-shirts, bags, all kinds of fun swag.

Rapid Fire Sales at HOF
Hall of Flowers has been the industry’s champion for success since its very beginning. Each season the event organizers have innovated the show with speakers series, networking opportunities, and streamlining the process of show to store sales for brands and retailers, this is perfect b2b experience. There are easily a dozen different Cannabis professional expos and conferences throughout the country that are far from HOF culture or vibe. Many that are dedicated to helping people start a retail store, others focus on production equipment and the growing of mile long buildings swelling with indoor Cannabis. Once this space was just small farms growing reasonably small batches of craft Cannabis (which still exists and you should seek them out, generally awesome).
Now it’s a industry that has somewhat taken the heart out of the once outlaw practice of growing Cannabis. My point being is that HOF has managed to bring both the small and large companies together and given each the respect and support needed to put their best foot forward in a very competitive space. Both the brands and the retailers are under pressure to stay in business in an over taxed, regulated, and often misunderstood world. Hall of Flowers supports the industry and celebrates it wholehearted.

Brands of All Sizes Benefit from Hall of Flowers
No matter what the size of the Cannabis business, it is important to showcase at HOF for so many marketing and sales reasons. Not only are there buyers and owners of medical and recreational retail stores, but also Cannabis Press and social media influencers are also integral in gaining traction in earning new customers. Also day 2 of HOF is open to bud tenders and other professionals in the industry that want to learn more about the brands that they promote and also often partake as well. There is no better influencer than the bud tender. Bud tenders provide direction to consumers who need some guidance on what products are best for them based on their needs and experience using Cannabis. This is why HOF is such a huge marketing opportunity for these brands, on top of the face to face sales.
Cannabis Press, we’re the friend to all brands!
Cannabis press also make a lasting impression as they too share these products and experiences with their readers that should have as much expertise. If you’re not deep into Cannabis, stay in whatever lane you’re in and don’t be a poser. That’s the one thing about Cannabis people, we can smell each other out and know who’s really in it for the passion of the plant first, everything else falls in line from there. If you are thinking about starting a Cannabis brand or getting into the business, take the time to learn and ask lots of questions from the people in the business, you’ll have a better understanding and also hopefully don’t make mistakes others did starting out. As the Beard Bros have written on their t-shirts, “there’s no SOP for culture”. There really isn’t a standard operating procedure for Cannabis culture- it can’t be bought or sold, it’s a lifestyle.
